I was dying of sleep deprivation yesterday. Had three cups of coffee. And still feel the splitting headache caused by the lack of sleep.

Then... savior from the comics section in the International Herald Tribune. Whewwww.... I started sniggerin.. but who cares?

Slept the whole day. Miss my morning lecture. Went on to sleep n surf net in the end.

Juz check mugglenet and the counter said in less than 6 hours it will be the opening of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire ... damn...

N yes... I've no idea why everyone puts Harry Potter on their msn nick.. juz to tell me they BOOK the tickets.. or are watchin it on SUNDAY.

Okok... is only shown in Dec here. HAPPY??

Btw.. Memoirs of a Geisha looks nice too. It's "the first Hollywood movie with an all Asian cast" as mentioned on the front page of Times magazine.

We've officially stepped into Fall. The room is warmer when u on the air con rather than opening the windows. Dusk is fallin earlier than usual.

Didn't do much todae. Aww... another day wasted.

This is officially marked as a BLACK Monday.

Firstly, according to the "traditions" of my hall, we are supposed to whip up a few dishes for supper after dinner. (How fattening can it gets har?)

Then, I lost my cell phone. Hello?! Can anything be worse than that. So... basically.. I lost all my contacts. From childhood frenz to sec sch frenz.. to JC... to NUS... n now to HKU. All GoNE~

Haiz... juz the thought of it. Seriously... I don't mind losin the phone alone. It's old and dented. Its screen is scratched...

I mean I won't deny I am really happy to rid my phone in this way.. haha..

BUT inside it.. there is a lot of contacts, smses that I wanna keep. Most importantly, I wanna stay contactable in HK.

Got a new phone.

It's VS3 Panasonic

I changed the top cover to a pink one. haha... well I really like the 16M colors...

BUT.. a very big BUT

still no numbers. Can you send me your numbers? Everyone... please...

A phone with so much functions is useless without contact numbers..

I mean... with the technology nowadays... I can have a 16M color screen... a Sega sonic game... but well... comes down to it... it's still the use of the phone as a mean of communication to be the utmost importance.

SO... please send me your numbers... :)

The weather has changed quite a bit these daez.

Juz a day after I came back, the weather dropped by 6 degree celsius. Oh... the temperature is wonderful now :)

Though it seems slightly warmer today.

Already had a new resolution for my stay here.

I wanna..

1. Go to Disneyland (though it is most probably incomparable to the US one.. but well.. it's been quite a while since I went to one.)

2. Go to the Rooftop Garden at International Financial Centre (IFC) in Central. SOMEONE told me is a good place for impressive scenery and drinks.

3. ErM... stop dwelling over the bad points of the lecturers and students.. though it is ubiquitous and for all to see... (^.^lll)

4. Planning to go to my friend's home in Shenzhen. I havent get my Mainland Entry passport though. With that, you can go into China without a visa. But it has a very misleading Chinese name. It's known as the "hui xiang zheng". (Trans: Home returning ID)

Anyway, this plan is yet to be confirmed. :p

5. To inform the world of my hall's misgivings.



Well...

This is writings done on the walls in the ladies bathroom. How sick can it be when they start pointing fingers at specific individuals?

In case, you can't catch what is written here. It is sayin:

Cathy, I don't want to see you disappearing from the floor when you haven't get your things done. I don't want to see you chilling away with your friends. I've already ask so and so.. not to PLAY with you. Blah blah blah...

Well.. there are plenty of these notes.

How childish can people get?

I mean...

I never know it can sink THIS low.

If you hear that someone is speaking ill of you, instead of trying to defend yourself you should say: "He obviously does not know me very well, since there are so many other faults he could have mentioned."

It's usual for people to talk behind others back. I mean this is what the mouth is for. It's impossible for anyone to live through a life unscathed and unhurt by words.

The bottom line is... does the person MEAN it?

And so what if they really mean it?

Is these people important to you? No one knows yourself better than you.

Why not just laugh it away? And concentrate on those who really care.
