New film from Studio Ghibli: Tales from Earthsea


Anyone who likes Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle should be interested in this new masterpiece of Studio Ghibli.

Yeah... Hayao Miyazaki is NOT involved in its production, but his son is.

Something to do with the genes.

Anyway, the details are still mangnificent, and the scores, as usual, sounds great.

But watching the trailer makes me wonder...

Why does the male protagonist look so much like the heroine in Nausicaa: Valley of the Wind?
There is also striking resemblance of the scenary and character designs.

Something to do with the genes again, I guess. Ideas are cloned.
