"THE POINT OF NO RETURN"
Is this really it?
Well... my dad used this term when he asked me how sure am I on what I am doin.
The way he termed it is kinda intimidating.
For those who do not know, I've asked for a semester of deferrence from NUS. This meant that currently I am an undergraduate in BOTH NUS and HKU.
But after this semester, it would be different. There are two options:
1) To stay in HKU
2) To go back to NUS
I've always thought HKU would be where I wanna be. For those who know me, you should know how much I wanna do journalism.
Yet... I would have to say I am very disappointed with how things were in HKU. Maybe NUS has such a good system of teaching, lecturers and technology... that HKU seems really bad.
OK... I would have love the environment that HK provides me with... but the institution is ... well.. kinda disappointing. And till now, what I learnt is really similar to what is taught in NUS. And waz worse is the lecturers are not even as good!
SO... is back to the question... will I regret if I stay in HKU since my deferrence ends this semester.
Many think I am goal-oriented... with a great sense of direction.. passion... blah blah blah...
but what if this is a mistake?
I am not afraid to make mistakes. Thaz what life is make up of.
And at the end of the day... I've to ask myself... am I really going towards "the point of no return"?
