Start from here...

Haven't blog for eons.

But gosh I was surprised when I heard about the album Start from here by Joanna Wang.

Have subscribed to her youtube page for quite a while...

No idea she is called Joanna Wang until seeing her face in the papers.

Blogged about her rendition of Castles in the Air before.

Love her Chinese ones too like I Only Care About You

That deep and sensual voice... It's pretty mersmerising (yeah yeah.. I m publicizing here.)

Cant help it.

Right, left brainer or no brainer?

The Test:
The Spinning Lady Test

Urgh...

this woman is turning clockwise from which ever way I looked at it - left, right, above and bottom.

Still clockwise. Period.

The anatomy of my single cell structure (yeah... thaz right... admitedly so.) devoids me of the ability to see a deferring result.

Although I did stare at the reflection of the monitor in the mirror long enough to realize that the reflection of the spinning lady is also turning clockwise in the mirror.

This ain't making sense...

Clockwise on the screen, and clockwise in the mirror.

How did that happen?

Confession of a shopaholic

悲傷的採購 from the HK indie band My Little Airport

Listen to song
(Workable :p)

Sometimes... it does make sense.

Facebook? It's all about self-branding.

Just got the new issue of Times magazine, and they have this witty article about all these online friend-based websites:

You Are Not My Friend
Yes, we're on Facebook. But I don't care about your cat. And stop poking me.

Anyway... juz wanna highlight the gist of the whole blether...

Old people are always worrying that our blogging and personal websites and MySpace profiles are taking away our privacy, but they clearly don't understand the word privacy.

We're not sharing things we don't want other people to know. We're showing you our best posed, retouched photos. We're listing the Pynchon books we want you to think we've read all the way through. We're allowing other people to write whatever they want about us on our walls, unless we don't like it, in which case we just erase it.

If we had that much privacy in real life, the bathrooms at that Minnesota airport would be empty.

Haha... how does that work out for you?
