A downtrodden beseeched comforting rhetoric to alleviate sorrow.
Flamboyant phrases devoid of any practicality.
But... why do we crave for such pomposity?
You know that no one will add on to the despair when somberness is so corporeal.
Could anyone have the heart to tell you how dead a duck you were?
The truth is obvious - You want to be lied to.
But... why?
Is it human baseness that make us preferred solacing deception rather than brutal facts?
Or is it a dream that we seek to live in a fool's paradise?
Freedom is not a human right conferred by Heaven. Nor does the freedom to dream come at birth: it is a capacity and an awareness that needs to be defended. Moreover, even dreams can be assailed by nightmares.

Something I realized ever since I am back in Singapore...
1) Scorching heat kills. (Oh.. but this has been ever persistent...)
2) I can mix Hong Kong and Singapore coins together without feeling confused. (Oh.. but there was once when I took out a S$1 coin and thought it must have shrink because it looked so small.)
3) I can do a fast mental exchange rate between HK$ and SG$.. even taking inflation into account. (Haha)
4) I have trouble sleeping early.
5) Shops closed their doors when I am most awake.
6) More appreciative of fresh air in Singapore.
7) Reading through local papers on local reports make me frown.
8) Deprived of roller blading and cycling in HK
9) Deprived of good food in SG. (fishballs.. fishballs... fishballs.... oooo-)
10) Fishballs... fishballs... fishballs....

ABBA -A Swedish group that became a worldwide phenomenon in the 1970s.
Keep on listening to their songs lately. It's kinda episodic.
You've got hook onto some kind of music and for some time you will listen to it everyday.. you forget about it after a while.. and then one day... out of the blue.. you wanna listen to it again..
it's just like the rising and ebbing of the tides... coming back from time to time..
and it's not only a song that takes shape in your mind.. but the revival of thoughts and memories that are bound to them..
ANYWAY... gonna stop myself from digressing..
HEE~ soooooo...
ABBA - A Swedish group that become a worldwide phenomenon in the 1970s.
The first song I heard from them is coincidentally the one that got them fame..
S.o.S.
And there is my "favourite" ABBA song.. actually.. is mood-dependent...
The Winner Takes it all
It is a song in one of their last albums when the two couples in ABBA are both facing marriage crisis...
Maybe knowing that story does make people feel for the song.
Alright.. not gonna babble on. Enjoy your holidaez while it last.

Well... hey.. Happy Chinese New Year har..
Bet most people will be busy with visits and stuff when they wake up today hur?
Oh.. gosh... I can't help it..
but...
I AM REALLY BORED!!!!
Hello?!
I wonder why Man created a nuisance known as time? I mean... who says that a DAY got to be 24 hours? Why can't it be 25 hours? or 24.6 hours? I mean even the rotation of the earth wouldn't be THAT precise isn't it? There got to be some plus-minus here and there..
SO... why must there be a countdown for anything? It's not even precise in the first place..
AwwW...
Guess I am going bonkers with all these new year countdown goin on...
Who created the Chinese New Year anyway?
I thought festivals are supposed to be created so that you can have some fun before going back to the drudgery of everyday life.
Maybe I should start counting down for everything.
Ok.. counting down for the coming of Monday now... er... to celebrate the dawning of the sun on Sunday.
There! A valid reason!
Alright...
not funny..
SIGHHHH~
Erm....
By the way...
Happy Chinese New Year......
