Lyrics:

Hey lady, you lady
cursing at your life
You're a discontented mother
and a regimented wife

I've no doubt you dream about
the things you'll never do
But,I wish someone had talked to me
like I wanna talk to you.....

Ooh I've been to Georgia and California
and, anywhere I could run
I took the hand of a preacher man
and we made love in the sun
but I ran out of places
and friendly faces
because I had to be free
I've been to paradise
but I've never been to me...

Please lady, please, lady
don't just walk away'
cause I have this need to tell you
why I'm all alone today
I can see so much of me
still living in your eyes
won't you share a part
of a weary heart
that has lived million lies.......

Ooh I've been to Niece and the Isle of Greece
while I've sipped champagne on a yacht
I've moved like Harlow in Monte Carlo
and showed 'em what I've got
I've been undressed by kings
and I've seen some things
that a woman ain't supposed to see.......
I've been to paradise, but I've never been to me.......

Hey, you know what paradise is? It's a lie. A fantasy we create about people and places as we'd like them to be.
But you know what truth is? It's that little baby you're holding. It's that man you fought with this morning, the same one you're going to make love with tonight. That's truth, that's love.........

Sometimes I've been to crying for unborn children
that might have made me complete
but I.....I took the sweet life
I never knew
I'd be bitter from the sweet
I've spent my life exploring
the subtle whoring
that costs too much to be free....

hey lady......
I've been to paradise......
but I've never been to me..........

Trailer for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

Goin to be released in SG on 18th Nov.

Sigh... it will only be released on the 22nd Dec in HK. Great... juz in time for Christmas.

So... take a look at the trailer if you have been following the sequels all along.

For those who don't... this time round Harry got to go to the quidditch world cup final (something like soccer world cup... a match between Belgium and England) and took part in the triwizard tornament (a contest of wizardry skills among three wizarding schools). N thaz even a ball for the students.

Do I sound childish or what? v(^.^)v

Goin back to packin.

Ciaoz.
Everyone seems to be occupied these daez...

Yes. Therez school. Therez work.

Not everyone have the privilege of neglecting time. "Time" to me.. is kinda useless these daez. It doesnt have much of a significance unless u have a schedule to follow.

Yawnz. That explains why I am still awake now.

Busy with packing.

Was doing my laundries juz now. N I kinda regret buyin so many "delicate" clothes that required "personal care and attention." As in "handwash only" or "please wash separately" sort of clothes.

Those words are the death sentence to laundries washing.

You never feel the hassle of it all till you got to stand in front of the basin for hours washing them.

And my right hand is still shaking from the "after shock" of excessive washing.

Great... gonna buy more rags to wear I guess.

But don't get me wrong. I do my laundries before. Seldom... but I do. Juz not at this frequency. (^.^lll)

Normally, my mum do it for me even when I said "leave it to me".

Ohh... I miss my mum already. Erm.. wait a minute... I'm still at home. :p

ANYWAY... guyz... not gonna miss the outing. No worries.

I WILL BE THERE. I WILL! I WILL!

Trust me. For once. Not gonna miss it for anything.

Seeya guyz soon.

Ciaoz for now.

Letter of acceptance to St. John College... the place I'll be living in (at least for a semester :p)

It's a school started in 1912... initially divided into St. John and St. Steven for the guyz and galz respectively. And it's relocated in 1955. Whew... at least it's relocated after the wars.. so the possibility of transcendental beings should be lower.. haa

Furthermore, it's modelled after the British boarding school system... thus meals would be provided and they had formal wear complete with ties and suit for occasions.. (You know... in true British boarding school style)

A picture found online. Description of rooms:

There are in total 223 single rooms for undergraduate residents and they are all single rooms, which they are indeed, an ideal place for studying. On the other hand, each single room is installed with a telephone line and a computer network plug which connects your personal computer directly to the computer centre in the campus. Laundries and a pantry on each floor provide convenience to the students. Some can even have magnificent views of the Tsing Ma Bridge.

Facilities...

The dining hall for meals

TV room with cable tv and snooker tables... (heard that you could catch soccer... )

Library of the college

Chapel... reminding me of the days in St. Andrew's.. Btw.. my college motto:

means "All through Him"

Great... so much of "Once a Saint, Always a Saint" in St. Andrew's dayz... I'm goin into another "saintly" era.

Oh btw.. I'll be packing all those Saints Tee to wear in the college... haa...

Anyway, all the images were gotten from the St. John College website. So.. there is a possibility they are not as cozy as they seemed here. But they do look elegant enough.

Better not pin up my hopes.

CiaOz for now.
